One of the largest plastic sheet manufacturers has been bought. The purchase of Vycom Plastics and CPG (Compression Polymers Group) has just been announced. Vycom Plastics has been acquired by Ares and Ontario Teachers’ for a reported $1.5 billion. HDPE sheet, Polypropylene Sheet and PVC Sheet are all major product lines from Vycom and CPG. The new acquisition should not affect day to day operations.
